2026-27 NYPDL Programming
This year, the NYPDL will be expanding on its current range of services to include the following: free online practices; a mentorship program; coaching services for teams; and partner pairing for tournaments. All services are free of charge. Please refer to the descriptions and links below for more information on each.

Free Online Practices
For those without a debate team at their school (or who would just like extra practice), the NYPDL will be hosting practice sessions every Friday from 7:30 to 9:00 pm EST. While we encourage students to attend as many practices as they would like/are able, the curriculum followed will also be made publicly available for students to study at their leisure.

For teams without coaches, and especially for schools without the funds or ability to hire them, the NYPDL is able to provide a limited amount of coaching services. Schools will be paired with a board member, who will meet with the teams either In-Person or on Zoom to give lessons and help run practices.
